Curly Brazilian Hair

As a Brazilian hair supplier we often get asked the question ‘How do I  maintain it?’

For those of you who have used curly Brazilian hair before or even have natural curls…you’ll understand that curls needs that extra bit of TLC compared to straight hair..as it can be more prone to tangling. So i decided to share my own personal experience of getting the best results out of your Curly Brazilian Hair Extensions.

Products?

First thing first…You need to ensure you have the right Products. I’ve tried and tested loads of different brands to maintain the best results from my extensions and one that I live by is Mizani’s True Textures range!

True Textures™ Curl Balance Moisturizing Sulfate-Free Shampoo
True Textures™ Curl Replenish Intense Moisturizing Masque
True Textures™ Cleansing Cream Conditioning Curl Wash
True Textures™ Perfect Curl Defining Cream Gel – FOR LOOSER CURLS AND WAVES
True Textures™ Moisture Stretch Curl Extending Cream – FOR COILED TO TIGHT AFRO STYLES

All of these products are available at Radiant Salon, to reserve your products call 02072318833!

Washing?

TT Curl Balance

TT Curl Replenish Masque

I wash my Brazilian hair at least once a week with TT Curl Balance Shampoo, the lightweight, sulfate-free formula rinses clean while retaining and restoring moisture to detangle and soften curls. This is then followed by the TT Curl Replenish Masque, which can be used as an intense treatment or after-shampoo conditioner. Once I apply a generous amount to my hair i use a wide tooth comb which will gently detangle the curls for touchable softness and a silky feel.

Daily maintenance?

TT Cleansing Cream

Curly hair is not exactly the up and go kind of hair, it will need to be moistened a little every day to avoid too much volume and dryness. I usually use a water spray or even wet it down a bit in the shower. If you feel like the hair has too much product build-up in it, you can even use the TT Cleansing Cream, which is a shampoo and conditioner in one.

TT Moisture Stretch

TT Perfect Gel

While the hair is still damp I apply either the TT Perfect Curl Gel or the TT Moisture Stretch Cream to add extra moisture. This will then be followed by either towel drying the hair or a rough blow-dry with a diffuser, and lightly scrunching the hair with my hands.
